MEET OUR MANAGEMENT

KWAW ANSAH – Chairman
Mr. Kwaw Ansah attended the London Polytechnic, United Kingdom in 1963. Two years later in 1965, he earned a second Diploma in Dramatic Arts from New York, U.S.A. Furthermore, he understudied film production in R.K.O Studio Hollywood, Los Angeles, U.S.A.
His most enduring popular creative works include the award wining feature films, “Love Brewed in the African Pot”, “Heritage Africa” and documentary titled, “Cross Roads of People, Cross Roads of Trade”.
His works have won him several awards including the coveted “ETALON DE YENNEGA” Award and the UNESCO award for best Cultural Film for “Love Brewed in the Africa Pot”.
After serving on the Boards of several state organisations, Mr. Ansah is currently a member of the National Commission on Culture.

BERIFI APENTENG - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr Apenteng is the newest member of the management team. He recently left Graphic Communications Group, the largest newspaper company in the country after six years as Managing Director. He has wide ranging experience in media management. He was for several years the head of the News and Current Affairs Department for GBC Television and later Director of Radio for the same organisation. He was also the General Manger for the first private television station in the country, TV3 Network, and Senior General Manager, GAMA Film Company.

GYASIWA PAINTSIL ANSAH (MS.)- GENERAL MANAGER
The current General Manager of TV Africa, Gyasiwa holds a Diploma in Theatre Arts from the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Legon and has also pursued a Masters Degree in Film Arts at the New York University.
She was Co-ordinating producer of Film Africa Limited and has written, directed and produced several plays and TV adverts. She was Client Service Executive for Target Saatchi and Saatchi.
Gyasiwa brings to TV Africa a very strong film and production experience. She was the president of the Association of Students of School of Perfoming Arts (ASPA) of the University of Ghana in 1993. As a student she directed two major plays: "the Black Hermit" by Ngugi Wa Thiongo and the "Slaves" by Mohammed Abdallah. Her hard work earned her the Best Actress award for her lead role in "A raisin in the sun" by Loraine Hansbury, playing Mama Lee. Gyasiwa also played a minor role in "Love Brewed in the African Pot", "Mataa our missing children". She was the Production Manager of Kwaw Ansah''s documentary film "Cross Roads of People, Cross Roads of Trade" as well as "Harvest at 17" , "The Golden Stool- Soul of Ashanti" and "Heritage Africa". She does voice overs and acting as a hobby. Gyasiwa worked with the Pan African Film Festival Committee (FESPACO) for four seasons, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003.
She is currently a Board Member of Film Africa Limited.
